Angband, Belly of Dread

The Escape of Beren and Lúthien is a loose interpretation of Beren and Lúthien’s escape from Morgoth’s stronghold. The scene unfolds within a massive architectural space, awash in red and green hues, evoking both grandeur and menace. The massive structures and sharp shadows heighten the sense of vertigo. The two small figures descend the steps of a still-hostile world, guided by the uncertain light of a burning sky. The atmosphere is tense and silent, suspended between danger and hope.
